Because people NEED to know what's going on, so they can form an opinion.



Need to know...I don't think so...opinions are already formed and very little that is revealed will change that...

People have an interest in the prurient even when it's none of their business.

And I would guess that some people feel better about themselves when they see someone brought down a few notches..."Oh how the mighty have fallen" kind of thing...
