IMO Ghors,

Thanks for your reply...the definition came direct from a legal dictionary but the purpose of my POST was to get a better sense of what will happen in January given the 8k.

If this is the first such hearing for this particular phase then there is no way, in my humble opinion, that a decision will come in Q1 '05 - unless there is a settlement...which historically is the case with IDCC.
