Bonderman studied at the University of Washington and at Harvard Law School, graduating magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1966 and was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Washington in 1963. He was also a member of the Harvard Law Review and a Sheldon Fellow.
