Valentine's Day "For the very First time".

Maybe you like a bit of wine with your steak
Throw in a nice salad and a few potatoes to bake

Then sit down with your lady or man for this very nice dinner
They will think your quite debonair and a winner

Whatever you do don't forget the Valentine's Day Chocolates/Rose
It will make quite an impression with a special one nose to nose

Never give up on romance or the little things in life
It will blow away those little arguments and silly strife.

Hold hands and walk on the beach every chance you might find
That way the bond you have together will not become a grind.

Look in each others eyes and remember when you first kissed
And take a moment and throw away that petty laundry list

Of grievances you might have found like a sticky note on their shirt
That tends to open a wound that can become infected and hurt

Remember your family and the little ones that have a soft heart
So keep loving one another and never allow little things to tear apart

Your love and affection and what you treasure in life the most
Now your finished with that wonderful dinner so make a life toast

To hold them and hug them and love them no matter what might come
Sometimes it's easy to forget that your mate is heavenly sent from

The one who makes all things and never once made any junk
Why else would we all be family here and so appreciate Monk

As these thoughts are settling in your heart on Valentine's Eve
Remembering I do's and that you once had your heart on your sleeve

You giggled and danced and had a really wonderful time
Letting your heart be soft and gentle like a wind touched chime.

Make sure you do something special for your mate this time around
You just might turn back the clock and your true love again found
