Thanks Count, I can see your logic, but somehow I just think it wouldn't really be the same, hehehe.

The assumption that the stock value would go down upon the payment of a dividend may be in question. I think the stock would go up with the market's anticipation of the dividend. The majority of my stuff is in an ira anyway... tax is not an issue at this time.
