Sorry about your medical bills, Yanik. My husband had incredble medical bills before he died and if it weren't for my father inlaw, I would be bankrupt now. Did you know 2/3 of bankruptcies related to medical bills? But we don't need health care reform. Nahhh. In any case, GLTU. You might be surprised if you try to negotiate. Medicare pays 33cents on dollar. Why should anyone pay more? Hospitals do negotiate.
