Thanks Johnywinter In Liquidation

I think the thing that has people upset with my posts is my reliance on the order of preference in what I say. It is only one of several ways that people evaluate the Wamu Equities.

Settlement Merger Reorganization Liquidation.

Liquidation preference is the thing that a preferred share holder will be arguing about. It's the particular advantage of owning preferred shares of a company in bankruptcy. The preferred share holder take comfort in thinking about it.

Because in the event of a Settlement, Merger, or Reorganization each resolution is unique to the company and none can say for certain whether equity will be recognized or severed.

We have to understand that because the Preferred shares might see some return if the company were simply liquidated, they have standing to rise up and object to a plan in which all equities are simply severed. The objection they filed (black (w)horse) is about making the most of this.
