I think that was a quote from Moro from the ISOBM held in Rhodes in 2005 not long after it was licensed by Abbott. These are also an audience of scientists who are definitely apart from any group who actually treats cancer patients.

BTW, if RECAF was actually a miracle protein and 5 years have now passed, what in the hell happened? It isn't like it is a secret.

BTW, when I was an undergraduate, I worked for several Phd's and Phd candidates on their projects. They were way too caught up in the science of their projects to have any big picture of what was going on in the real world.
