So the 100k ERAS licenses the automaker is buying through the end of 2011, they never will have to buy another license as long as they never have more than 100k PCs. That can't be right. When they buy new PCs, if they own zero undistributed ERAS licenses, then they have to buy new licenses. Once a license is distributed (assigned) to a machine, it has to be non-transeferable, perhaps with certain exceptions (like I said before if a machine is being replaced under warranty for example).
