I had invested in Smurfit Stone when it was at .02 and sold anyway, they asked for an EC and were denied here's the article.

this is an interesting Excerpt from that same article

A committee would allow shareholders to hire lawyers and investment bankers, paid for by Smurfit Stone, to represent them in court and to conduct investigations. It would also imply there is substantial likelihood of recovery for shareholders.
