Immunohistochemistry for PCNA (Zymed, 93-1143) and Pten (Millipore,04-035) were performed according to instructions provided by the manufacturers.

SSLP analysis
For SSLP analysis, DNA extracted from normal and tumor samples of thymic lymphoma bearing Bub1–/H/p53+/– mice were genotyped using fluorescently labeled PCR primers to amplify six SSLP markers located along chromosome 11 (Applied Biosystems). PCR reactions were performed according to manufacturer’s instructions using TrueAllele PCR premix (Applied Biosystems). In order to determine the sizes of the PCR product produced, 2 µl of this reaction was added to 10 µl of Hi-Di formamide plus LIZ (minus 250) internal lane standards and run on an ABI 3730XL DNA Analyzer (Applied Biosystems). Raw data was analyzed using GeneMapper software (Applied Biosystems).

December 15, 2009 - Life Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ:LIFE), a provider of innovative life science solutions, today announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of BioTrove, Inc. for an undisclosed amount.
