The really cool aspect of this unit is that you input the temperature you want and you get it. when someone turns on water elsewhere in the house the temp does not vary in the shower. You only have one water pipe to plumb to the unit. You can not scald the baby. You save money by only heating the water you need. And come to think about it, I just threw away one if the original Amana microwave ovens. I suspect they will have an extended life expectancy. Sorta like CFL light bulbs, technology does pay for itself. all jmo
