Well Jimmy,

If you have preferred stock it will be paid in full upon liquidation before the common stock is paid anything. In this case the preferred stock could be paid all back dividends and continue trading. Most likely in the $500 to $700 range. Or it could be picked up with a comparative stock of JPM and it could not be sold until I believe 2012 at the earliest. but you would have the dividend and the amount in your account.

The common stock on the other hand is not limited by a face value and could see a significant amount of the proceeds after all debt and preferred stock is paid in full. Or it too could just continue trading at a level congruent with its value.

By the way I really enjoyed the movie, watched it with my kids.
