Going back in time to the Dupont contract, I became aware that it took no less than 6 months to close on, and that was only to supply a Dupont facility with (clean) landfill gas.

Contract negotiations with large corporations are like that, I suppose...even 'simple' ones, as one might consider the LFG conract.

A JV with any one of LTC's 'subsidiaries' could easily be expected to take at least that long, if not twice/3x/4x or more.

However, if I'm correct, DR was in negotiations long before his very last 'communicado' with shareholders. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that he used the term 'negotiations' even as far back as around the time we were waiting for FDA approval (which is why I thought, upon FDA approval announcement, that we were 'golden', way back then. Little did I know how much of a DLDNGRTBL(!!!) sheistering chithead crook LGB was and was to be).

If so, and given that, it's quite possible DR was at the very brink of some 'finalization' of a contract. Kinda sad to think that perhaps he may have had a final signing scheduled, and out of shear joy (holidays and all, combined) that his ticker just couldn't take the overwhelming nature of finally being 'revenue producing'. Such things do happen. Older men have had demises from other various types of 'joyous pleasures' (even while lying down, if you know what I mean).

If such may have been the case, and new management now has to pick up where he left off, bare minimum I'd say is 2 months have been added. If negotiations are still being made, and with a management team a tad more likely to 'give in' a little more, perhaps 3-5 months, maybe more. I'm hearing (from sources outside of management) that Dr. K is actually a rather considerably 'brilliant' man, more than capable of walking away with a signed contract without having to throw the kitchen sink in on the deal.

(FWIW, I met an individual about 2 years ago who, when I told him Dr. K was on the Board of one of my investments, he almost immediately took a position in CTUM. He was from the same area as Dr. K and said that everyone knew of him, and thought most highly of him.)
