Occasionally, someone calls in with a pick of a sub-$10 stock. Every time, just like clockwork, he immediately flies into making a speech about penny stocks and how risky they are, blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada.
Cramer definitely has his bias' and I can tell you that he always steers listeners AWAY from stocks that sell in this PPS plateau. But I wouldn't go so far as to say he is "anti-pink" but more "pro-Blue Chip".
Probably because of his extensive hedge fund background, and Big Stock orientation, and the folks he hangs with. Also, might be because he is a complete media whore. Just look at who advertises on the CNBC site, and what stocks they cover while the market is open. It is extremely rare for any CNBC "talking head" to mention any stock selling below $1.
Anyway, we don't need Cramer. What we do need is the Dept. of Defense on board.
