"TICKER CHANGE the big catalyst?" (Repost from 11/10/09)

"I agree that the approaching spinoff dividend deadline, or perhaps some surprise news from one of many subsidiaries - may be what gets this stock trending upwards once again. (Or just the simple fact that the shares are locked up with no dilution to come for the longest time. We only need this low volume consolidation to run its course.)

But let me share with the board a thought I can't shake out of my head. I know the old Seaway Valley Capital Corporation (SWVC) has long since joined the ranks of the worst diluters of all times, but that thought aside, I just can't forget when I was holding a crapload of GS Carbon (GSCR) around .006 - .008 after Seaway aquired that shell, and after an initial explosion it had fallen and simply could not get back up. I just couldn't understand why it held that low range for the seeming longest time . . . UNTIL the day that the Name and Ticker changed. To my surprise, it hit the ground running the very first day and had a multi-day run far beyond my exits through the .02's and .03's.

I just wonder if this stock might not have a multi-day run in the days following the ticker change?

That ticker change could occur any day now, and we'll know the day before - even if the company does not announce it - because it will be posted in the OTCBB "daily list."

Just a thought, for what it's worth."
