my point is simply that athiest intellectual elites do not represent the opinions of most people in this country. The extremists in control of the Democratic Party

It's a myth that there is some "atheiest intellectual elites" even trying to represent anyone. It's also a myth that there are "extremists" in control of the Dem Party. People like to drag Michael Moore out as some kind of proof of their silliness. Lots of luck proving that more than 2% of Democrats payed any attention to him at all -- much less in proving that those that did, didn't see him as making some accurate points but choosing to use a lot of inaccurate drama that didn't impress anyone. You live as out of touch with reality as anyone you accuse of doing so -- at least.

"Majority beliefs" -- whatever they actually are, are not automatically synonymous with "truth" and "right".
