Interesting that you would mention Iraq, I am currently in country right now. That Oil well is in a part of the country that the conglomerates (BP, EXXON, MOBIL, and others) are scared to go into. The well was orignally supposed to be taken over by a Russain GSE but the deal fell through. The more oil that moves into Iranian hands the LESS chips the US has to barter with. We need energy independence and we need it NOW. Not in ten, twenty, or thirty years NOW. I dont think anyone wants a repeat of what happened in the 70's..
