Don't feel too bad...

I actually recommended that an investment advisor take a look at TRTN back at a buck...

gave him all the DD available then.

My reason... we were dining out with mutual friends one night at a medium pricey restaurant back in TRTN days... and without telling us... even while chatting about many things as he and his wife were leaving...

the fellow had PAID for our 4 dinners at our table...

the waitress tried diligently to get all of us to have dessert but we all declined (fat old folks). When it was time for our checks, the owner came out and said Jim had paid for dinner on his way out.

So I thought I'd give him a heads up (as a "thank you") to check out John Bordynuik's credentials, associations with MIT and NASA, and check into what he was putting together.

Must have been way too early... Jim sent back an email saying BBs were too risky and he NEVER advised anyone to buy one... and HE NEVER bought into them... but "good luck!"

Well, the Scottrade broker was far more receptive when I handed over a cashier's check Monday and told all about the JB vision and what he's accomplished since TRTN days. Hunting up internet sites (for JBII, Javaco, Pak-It) and information was definitely the response. Don't know IF anyone at Scottrade got interested enough to buy JBII... but it had tripled since the other fellow got his tip! LOL

Maybe when JBII uplists to AMEX and is at 4+, I'll call both of them and remind them to look again! ROTFL
