capt. There is a lot of hot debate concerning the question of inflation OR deflation. I am in the deflation camp for at least the next several years. Inflation is normally accompanied by very low unemployment which of course will not be the case for several years into the future.
You can google "The case for deflation" OR "The case for inflation" and find a lot of reading material for both sides of the debate. We could spend a lot of time and effort debating the issue here but it is not really necessary. I encourage anyone interested to Google the above and make up their own mind.
