A great post from Pokestake. It needs to be repeated here........................................ Anyone expecting to see it fly higher than 10 feet or so isn't really thinking this through. Even if it were fully outfitted with all the bells and whistles, this lumbering craft should never be allowed to share airspace with commercial traffic. It's just too slow to get out of the way of anything. It would be like allowing a hot air balloon to drift around the airport, not to mention the wind just taking it. It makes no sense whatsoever. Forget the FAA, try common sense.

The videos of this RC wonder show that it is heavier than air and relies on its prop to drag it up. Look for a low trip down the runway at several feet off the ground, at best. The airport should require a repeater for the RC system so that they can operate a kill switch on it in case Bernie starts daydreaming and lets it get higher than 10 feet. Then they just switch it off and watch it blow into the mangroves or whatever. The runway they're supposed to be using is well removed from the main one, so there would be that much margin of safety.

Of course that assumes a lot, including that they will ever even have this event. As we have seen every time before, it is the run-up to the event that appears to be more important than the event itself ever is.

Just remember, Obama and the Cap are "discussing UAV's" over on the website. That should tell you just about everything that you need to know about this company.

In the constellation of Cygnus, there lurks a mysterious, invisible force: the black hole of Cygnus X-1....
