It has already happened here, including some Canadian brokers getting fined for disregarding the order. Fined heavily, if I remember correctly, and I will get the info for you. I have to get ready to go out now , but I will get the info for you by tomorrow, if you want.
I know this can happen because I have a letter in front of me threatening to do just that to a company that I do some IR for.
They were not happy with some info that was put out because it was 14 years old (about gold claims), and made us come up with our own results that had to be verified by a geologist of their approval. Fortunately , things were as stated, but they made it clear that we had 10 days to comply or our Canadian trading rights would be halted.
