Like I said I have been following this for some time now as my major stock investment. I am not a professional just a common Jo but sometimes that gives you insight! If you remember Howard Stern mentioned many months ago that things to come were going to be more than we could imagine! Then I have watched the websites of Ondas, Worldspace, and others develop daily.
The marketing company doing the fantastic job for Worldspace is PIR marketing working out of the Mansion on O Street in DC. If you go to their website and look at their "portfollio" if you will of clients, etc. Go through the slides until you see the website development of Worldspace. If you notice the right hand corner of the website...that is a sirius radio offered for sale. It replaces the image of the Tongshi receiver. Maybe reading too much into this but I don't think so. The Italy launch is going to happen soon...also listen to the streaming video of UPOP on the Worldspace Channels page. You hear the dj's talking about the commercials. At least that is how I interpret the conversation. If you have followed the website development as I have you would agree that things have begun to move along quickly. I doubt they would want to go back and change all the WRSP ticker info in this huge marketing project.
On a personal note, I believe that John Malone never steps away from a good challenge. Think about it, he is major rich he is not motivated so much by personal wealth I wouldn't think as much as seeing a communications collaborative to it's full potential. He is not going to step on the little guys that have been working hard to keep this innovation afloat. He is a communications specialist and I suppose a good one considering his success. To people like Malone this is leaving a Legacy professionally.
I know this sounds like a huge "bump" which I guess it is...but I don't want to see the little guys that are holding this stock let go of it without really looking at things from the common sense side of things. Bashers make people nervous and I just want people to think about why Worldspace might just pull out of bankruptcy. Chapter 11 is a REORGANIZATION and does not mean that the company is going down. Technology is expensive and cash flow is always hard until you get things online. Does not mean they are not capable of "knocking the socks off" the communications world.
