GS...after thinking on this awhile, I had to wonder why GTC would plunk down 800k on an if come new 5 segmented STS-111, which I presume has the same length as the 4 segmented puppy being flown all over Stuutgart for some time now. (No clue as to what the extra cell does.)
Only reason I can make sense of this is that GTC was all over the testing in Germany, was VERY happy with the results, and made the plunge to enable the next step with L-3 in the USA.
Only thing that makes me think it's plausible.
Certainly, in this economy, I would not risk my corporate assets on a total unknown as they have done.
ergo...it is not an unknown....and therefore a low risk/high return investment...after MAJOR due diligence.
And they were willing to pay a premium to market to send that intent.
