Why is it so convenient or so compelling to call the right a warrant? If it makes no practical difference other than to differentiate the discrete elements of the deal, that means that differentiating the discrete elements of the deal makes a practical difference: it avoids unnecessary confusion. What justifies imposing the confusing misnomer of your fancy? Just because the dolts whose coats you hold at Yahoo don't like to trouble themselves with accuracy (for sundry reasons in addition to laziness)?
