Like I said though, even Con men can convince one of handing over there life savings and have you leave with a warm fuzzy feeling after wards. What I don't understand is why anyone would sell shares at a discount, when they could have just sold them straight up. That's what makes me think Carnes swept him off his feet with some BS. Only other situation I can think of would be that Peter actually wanted minimum "anonymous" investors, but yet knew that Carnes would have to sell them publicly eventually to get his money, unless Carnes promised him that he would sell them to a few business partners of his or something, so that theory has some holes in it.

Who knows, maybe Carnes had all the contact with the TA and handled everything like that for Peter. He did help Peter go public, so I am sure the info and details he informed Peter of was bare minimum and all to benefit Carnes. Carnes could have told him anything to the extent of that is the only way to do it, blah blah. Only 2-3 people know the 100% truth. Carnes and Peter, and maybe Sykes after he came in to mop up the blood bath.
