so you admit with your scarcasm that people ARE buying in more and averaging down.
seems the smart thing to do.
most people with 401k are doing the same thing, when the market crashed, people kept contributing to their 401k and as the price went down were able to buy larger blocks of shares. now with the market on the upside larger gains are realized.
