IMHO It is not so bad as most are saying,
From Google Finance Board:

Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents, but I think the way you're all
understanding this is incorrect. Though by all means, I wish I was
wrong since the way you're all calculating this would be more
beneficial to all of us. But this is how I interpreted the PR today:
Let's say you have 5 million shares of EVFL currently.
After the 1:600 reverse split, you would now have 5,000,000 / 600 =
8,333 of EVFL shares.
After you perform the reverse split, you have over 1,000 shares, so
you qualify for the restricted shares of EVLN in an amount equivalent
to you're % of shares that you held in EVFL. So in this example you
should theoretically be able to take the current Market Cap of EVFL
(closed today at $76,988 according to Google) and divide that amount
by the current PPS(using $.06 after the reverse split on Friday) and
get a total of 1,283,133 outsanding shares.
Then to figure out your own personal % of ownership in EVFL, you would
calculate the following:
8,333(EVFL shares after reverse split) / 1,283,133(calculated OS based
on current Market Cap and reverse split PPS) x 100% = 0.649%
This calculated % would be what you should get of the 2 million shares
of EVLN. So in this example, it would be:
(2,000,000 x 0.649%) / 100% = 12,988 shares of EVLN.
This is how I understood the EVLN portion of the dividend, which is
still awesome if the EVLN stock stays up at $4-5. But then again,
these shares will be restricted so we can't sell them for 6 months
either. Lots can happen in 6 months, but we can all hope for the
better.
As far as the other dividend, I think that you're all right in saying
that they will be essentially doubling our current shares, but those
extra shares will be restricted like the EVLN shares. Though they
might just be refering to a straight across transfer of EVFL shares to
the new EVFN shares(which is the new ticker that EVFL is changing
too). But in the way they word the PR, it doens't sound like that's
what they're talking about.
Hope I didn't confuse anybody, but I just thought I'd comment on this
whole thing since I'm in the same boat as all of you. I'm definitely
curious to see if I can make any $$$ off of all this.
Go EVFL!!! or.....um......I mean.....Go EVFN!!!
