New York – On Monday, the Associated Press and NBC New York reported that O’Casey’s Tavern owner, Paul Hurley, has unveiled the nation's first 100-proof turkey. "It's a turkey you can eat and drink at the same time, but you'll need a cab home," Hurley told the NY Post. "There's an ounce of vodka in every bite." Just in case you cannot taste the vodka as you chew, there is a vodka reservoir inside the turkey for sipping. Once properly liquored up, the bird marinates for three days before roasting.

For $29.95, diners over 21 will receive vodka infused turkey, fruit infused vodka laced gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, a straw to sip from the vodka reservoir and as a public service to all the sober folks on the road, a free taxi ride home.
