Thursday November 19th, 6:05 am

The rain is falling this morning on extreme Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington.. and this whole storm system appears to be lifting north into Washington for the rest of the day. Highs will be near 60 degrees and mild with a warm front passing through. Heavy rains will stop for a while during the day. Later, wind and rain will ramp up after 6pm again tonight.. and we still have a High Wind Warning posted for the Oregon and Washington coasts.. gusts to 75-85 mph through midnight tonight. Wind will not be an factor, however, this morning or early afternoon on the coast... it's just a very wet morning over there! One inch of rain has fallen in the past 24 hours..with another inch or so to come. Valley areas will receive up to a half an inch of rain.
The weekend is looking equally wet with another round of rain for Friday night and Saturday.
