In the ponds beside the island we rented there were hundreds of oysters that had been there a lot of years.

One day the tide went way out and we could just walk around and pick up giant fresh oysters.

We had a real oyster feast back at the island cabin that night, after we finished eating some raw ones in the duck blind.
