truthers, Inc. Announces Opening Of New Boar Stud Facility
In Minnesota

CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BW HealthWire)--Aug. 31, 2000--STRUTHERS, INC. STRU
Struthers, Inc., announces the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of its newly
completed Boar Stud Facility, on Wednesday, September 20, 2000 from 1:00 PM to 7:00
PM at the Boar Stud Facility, located at 3500 - 490th Avenue Bricelyn, Minnesota.

The new facility consists of approximately 22,000 square feet that will house 400 boars as
well as state-of-art semen collection and processing equipment, an embryo collection
operating room and administrative offices. Semen produced at the facility will supply new
and existing customers, alliance herds, foreign markets and research farms.

The opening will feature demonstrations of the new artificial insemination and non-surgical
embryo implantation systems that incorporate the imaging technology of the Gourley
Scope(TM), a display of the first live swine produced utilizing the Gourley Scope(TM) in
non-surgical embryo transplantation, and the Company's new semen packaging
equipment. Festivities will include a cookout featuring the Company's line of value added
