I would like to answer a few posts that I haven't been able to reply to for a few days. First, I am NOT Mark Newbauer. Mark doesn't post on this board at all.
I cannot remain neutral and it would be a conflict of interest to speak highly of the company and highly of the stock potential if I owned stock in the company. Within two weeks or so, I will stop posting on this board because I will buy in. The reason I haven't purchased stock is that my income from MTPP is low. I didn't take this position to make rock star money, I took it to have the opportunity to help build a company. I think that my income would be better spent on my children, not on company stock at this time.
Also... no, this staff does not "party". Anyone who insinuates that all we do is "run around and party" is foolish and ignorant. What we often do is work until 7pm at the office and in my case, work at home. For instance, with the exception of occasional posts on this board, I can honestly say that I work 7 days a week. For the last two hours, I have been working on letters and packages. I'm not going to go into detail about it but that's generally what my position entails. And no, I don't work in the mail room. I'm sure Biggerstaff was just hoping to jump all over that comment.
Believe it or not, I don't really care if you believe that I work for MIKP. Believe, don't believe...it's your call. But I can say that I am in the picture that is featured on the new web site.
And LynnGood, 32 weeks? Are you kidding me? ooookay. Let's just say that you are correct (which you aren't). I did a show with Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes and Plain White T's. We had six weeks of radio advertising and sold out 22,000+ seats. Flyers, radio and word of mouth in a month and a half. 8 months? Really? I'm glad I don't work for the company that you worked for. That's ridiculous. I would go insane talking about the same show for 8 months. What? Is Fall Out Boy not considered a "national act"? I'm pretty sure they are...
