Okay, Lynn. Again. You are misquoting me. I simply stated that if you have an issue with a company, to please post your issues on the board that deals with that company. EESO is not Mike The Pike Productions, Inc.

You say that you have experience in this industry. So, you understand how difficult it is-even with fabulous connections. This is not the kind of company that dials in an order to Office Depot and can expect to pick up their merchandise in a timely manner. There are negotiations with the agent that takes time. Attempting to find a hole in the schedule or when they are on their way to a booking but will pass by your target venue. If it were up to the promoters, booking an artist would be like setting an appointment but it does not happen that way. The first step, as you know, is to actually speak to the agent. That is no easy task. It doesn't matter what your budget for the event is or how organized you are. Agents handle numerous acts and finding the time to book those acts is clearly difficult with a few of the larger agencies. They tend to handle the ones with the highest demand first and deal with the smaller ones later which is a problem if a promoter is looking to book a smaller act versus say, a stadium filler.

I did not say that you could not book an event prior to the six to eight week window. But it's absolutely possible to book the event and allow significant time for marketing and advertising within the eight week timetable to insure a solid turn out for your event. At the former company, we NEVER planned a show outside of the eight week window...and sold out the second show we produced. 22,000 people heard about our show and attended that particular event.

As far as the announcement regarding the next two shows, I would suggest gaining that information from the individuals who are responsible for that job function. I do not create the schedules as I have said before.

You cannot properly judge a concert promoter based on four months of activity. And, if you truly have experience in this field, then you would already know that, Lynn. So relax and know that the company is working diligently towards our next events. We want the company to make money just as much as you do. I don't have to own shares of stock to want us to succeed. For me personally, it's bigger than that.
