Maheu had battled cancer and heart problems.

Mr. Maheu earned $520,000 a year and was living in one of the largest houses in Las Vegas and that was way back in the 70's.
So he had money and power, what was he trying to get done and why was he really involed with a pinky like CMKX ?
I'm betting CMKX was used by the FBI to try to get to the bottom of the corruption within the stock markets.
I'm also certain that there will be people that will be offered a free pass(no jail) if they aid in the prosecution of the bigger fish.
Once you become an FBI agent you never leave.
The FBI is going after some big FISH and CMKX was a perfect way to trap the greedy buggers!!!
Even great empires have fallen in the past due to greed, and some belief that they are untouchable, but now that the FBI has a target it will be interesting how things will turn out:)
