Look at what it costs per month to keep a contractor in Iraq.

Again though, the real issue.
You are claiming that the US government is in the business of saving money. That is such a laughable claim that debating the issue with you any more would be a waste of time.
The cost overruns that occur with EVERY government spending program is history for any interested party to research.
If any private company had the fiscal track record of congress they would be out of business in a week.

My biggest concern though is not cost but the gross overreach of Federal Power that it will be.
