Hey Phil, I'm an old fashion kind of guy when it comes to cooking and I only use cast iron skillets or dutch ovens. Some of my stuff is over 70 years old passed on to me from my mom that was passed on by her mom. I have to reseason them ever so often and I usually do it in my oven but that stinks the house up pretty bad and takes a while to air out. I was wondering if I could take them to deer camp with me and season them on the camp fire and if so should I place them on the coals face up or face down? TIA..
