balance_builder, this has been my theory on any buy out from day one. My belief is that Exxon walked away from the JDZ because his price was too steap for what they were used to paying. He also was not flexable enough for them.
Addax/sinopec was brought in because they were willing to consider the numbers Offor wanted, but not without having actual drilling results to go with the seismac data.
