She doesn't care about traders schedules only her own. Judges do sometimes research outside the briefs presented. She has a full case load. She might be reading and rereading the cited cases. She might be researching which language to use in ordering a turnover. The bottom line is this...does the money go to pay WAMU creditors, or to pay WMI creditors. Why should Wamu creditors get more security than they originally bargained for...they chose to deal with the bank not the holding company. Why put them in a better position. That is probably her focus now. Apply the law and let the chips fall accordingly. As to fdic/jpm's call for discovery, this really is bs. They did not need the holding company's approval to subpoena anyone for a deposition and they had since January to do so. FDIC and JPM just blew smoke, when substantive facts were required.
