how about the stuckholders who had listened to and believed in the ambulance chasers Roger Glen, Angell Edwards and co.

They were foolish. Many of us pointed out to them at the time that Glenn was nothing more than a hired gun, and that he'd been involved with sleazy penny stocks in the past.
