That's a good question. There may be some kind of extra fee to set that up, depends on who your brokerage account is set up through.

When I do a transfer w/ TD, I can do marginals the next day but must wait 3 days for the non-marginals.

When I set up the account I really didn't care because I wasn't into trading pennys anyway but now I wish I had it the other way.
