As an engineer who was forced to take a lot of chemistry & physics, nothing is impossible, some bacteria thrive in oceanic floor vents at super extreme temperatures, BUT O3 is unstable, it wants to be O2, which is stable. O3 reacts by ripping any O it can find. Ergo, it rips molecules apart, thus destroying the entity. That tends to kill stuff. Some air cleaners & other cleaning systems use ozone or ozone fuzzed water. The drawback with ozone equipment is that you can't let the ozone exist too long, it kills us too.
