Hydro Environmental Resources, Inc. (HERI) Announces Additions To Board of Directors and Corporate Officers

VANCOUVER, Wash., July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mr. David Rosenberg, Chief Executive Officer, announced today the appointment of the following persons to the management team of Hydro Environmental Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HYVR) (HERI):

-- Mr. Stephen Lennon and Mr. David Youngblood members of the Board of
Directors of HERI, as Vice Presidents. Mr. Rosenberg stated,
"Stephen and David's past contributions to the HERI team have been
invaluable and we look forward to their continued involvement in the
company's growth."
-- Dr. Michael Lysaght as a member of the Board of Directors and as
Secretary and Chief Science Officer. Dr. Lysaght served as an
officer with the United States Air Force in a career spanning over
two decades. During that time he held numerous key positions
including Director of Research & Assistant Professor of Chemistry at
the USAF Academy and Deputy Director for the Air Vehicles
Directorate, USAF Research Laboratory. Dr. Lysaght has a
distinguished academic background having received his Ph.D. in
Analytical Chemistry from the University of Washington in 1991 with
emphasis in instrumental analysis and fuels research. His research
has been published in several prominent scientific journals
including Fuel, Analytical Chemistry, Journal of Applied
Electrochemistry, and Review of Scientific Instrumentation. Mr.
Rosenberg stated, "We are fortunate to have Dr. Lysaght as part of
our team. His knowledge and expertise in chemistry and the fuels
research field will enable us to leverage and refine our existing
technology."
-- Mr. Mark Shmulevsky as a member of the Board of Directors and as
Treasurer and Chief Information Officer. Mr. Shmulevsky has an
extensive consulting background in architecting computer networks,
broadband distribution, high-speed networks and systems, and network
management. Mr. Shmulevsky, a former professor for Latvia State
University, Riga, Latvia has consulted for many prominent companies
including Intel, Lucent, and Terabeam. In addition, he has worked as
consultant with several government agencies. He has served on the
board of directors in several startup concerns including
StructuredNetworks, Storied Learning and Realintellect.
-- Mr. David V. Harmson, BA. E.A., L.T.C as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Harmson is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, Minnesota.
