41 check your numbers. Your example; 100,000 shares @ 0001 = $ 10.00, 1/2 % of 10.00 is $.05 + 7.00 per trade ) ST total cost is $ 7.05.
TDA = $9.99 ( flat fee).

You could of bought 3 million shares through ST for 10 dollars.
If you buy more than 3 million it might be a better deal, I'm not sure if TDA has a share cap on the $ 9.99 fee. GL
