CPVD DD You know what I think The CEO is full of BS Look at the information I found on CPVD CompuSonics Video Corporation all you have to do is click on the links below or Google CPVD Patents.There might be a R/M in play with this Treesoft company to go public with CPVD with these patents and wants to relese it to the public later and the information got leaked out to early that could explain the information removed from the site.And take also take into note the CEO is giving many differant storys which has BS on it I think.IMO
I mean look at all this info below Patents in differant countrys and read part 6.in Bold and its in tere filings.This reminds me of the Battle which PTSC ad back in the days.And if there is any truth to any of this CPVD could run hard

Okay let's do a breakdown here.First the discussion with the CEO.

1.he didnt confirm a settlement but did deny?
That does not make any sense.Did he get money for the patents or did he not?From what im hearing a few people made calls to him and its all different replys.One of the replys was that he believed there was some type of infringement in reference to there patents.And the other was they where in talks with companies about there patents in the past and nor can he comment on anyting else.But make sure to check the past news and filings.Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm


2.he also said he doesnt listen to anything on the cpu and referred me to filings. Although he didnt say if there was any infringements er not he did say patents are/and have been expired and if there were any infringements in the past they could benefit. i dunno was a very odd discussion with him to say the least.Sounds like BS CEO to me.Me think he is hiding something from the public.

3.i kinda got in it with him cuz he told me he has no control over whats on the internet and whatnot..then i asked him so it doesnt concern you at all that someone started a website up claiming to be your company and posting false info on it..he said it was out of his control..strange to say the leastHow come he has not made a public statement about this website with the information on it?

4.The Patents below are owned by CPVD CompuSonics Video Corporation which I cecked if you to te patent website.The Question is why own all these patents 10 of them I can understand 1 but 10 and there in Japan and Canada and U.S.A.I know for fact Patents are not cheap especially patents.

During the last 2 decades (CPVD) applied successfully for several patents and maintained in 1985 from CompuSonics Corporation, Inc. inherited patents with diligence. CPVD owns valid and expired patents in the U.S. and other number of countries. CPVD believes, that CPVD the Company's patents still represent an important and valuable asset, even the expired patents, because the limitation period for patent infringement litigation is 6 years after the patent holder becomes aware of an infringement. In the past CPVD the company hadn't sufficient resources to pursue potentially infringements in an appropriate manner.

During the last years the U.S. jurisprudence acclaimed increasingly the value and justification of intellectual property. This development seems important for the Company in its willingness to protect the rights of the Company's shareholders. In the past the Company wasn't successful to obtain sufficient capital for claiming its intellectual property against the powerful companies, which may have infringed upon the rights of CPVD. The increasing acceptance of intellectual property as an asset and the willingness of the jurisprudence and courts to protect these rights are changing the situation for CPVD. Consequently an increasing number of lawyer firms is willing now to cooperate on a provision basis. CPVD believes that its video data compression is valuable, possibly comparable with compression formats like JPEG. The management and Board of Directors is prepared and willing to cooperate in 2005 with experienced partners and lawyer firms to enforce the rights of its shareholders.
