I'll tell you who Burk is proud of. ...the Minnesota Twins..his team who with a payroll of 65 million came from 7 back to beat the 125 million dollar payroll team...the Detroit Tigers and now play the 208 million dollar payroll team the New Joke Yankees...whose top two players make as much as the whole 40 man roster of the Twins. If the Twins would have gotten home field advantage last year like this year (like they should have because they beat the White Sox in the season series) they would have had two in a row most likely and how many of the past few years..I'll tell you that would have been 03, 04, 06, 08 and 09...!!!!
How many years has it been since the Yankees have won the World Series ?? 9?? LOL....
The Twins are clearly a great organization..that's my point..to beat the Tigers 125 million dollar payroll and play the White Sox even last year and have won division title in 03, 04, 06, and 09 is truly an amazing accomplishment...much great than the all-star yankees' accomplishments of the past decade taking into account payroll..
