The SEC itself is in a conflict of interest when regulating the financial markets because they get money from the scam artists..meaning, the longer they let scams go, the more money the SEC can take from the criminals in the form of fines. I view it as just another tax on working stiff americans. Notice how the fines they collect never go to benefit the investors that got scammed?
