Bruce, Thanks for all the info on Citibank. I called the number you provided and they said I'm OK as long as I didn't fill in any of the information. They also said it was good I called in when I got it and they were glad I forwarded it to their security department.

I have been with them over 30 years and must say they are a very cautious company. My credit line is very high but they take precautions that I like. For example if you make a purchase that's out of the ordinary like buying a PC for a couple of thousand they will refuse the vendor and give them a number to give to me to approve the charge. I don't mind that at all because they are preventing an accident before it happens.

I never sign the back of any credit card and suggest no one else does either. I was told to put CID where the signature goes which forces a cashier to ask for a valid ID such as a drivers license. If they don't ask then at least the criminal doesn't have an example of your signature to work with.

Another thing I do is refuse to put my SS on my drivers license
and I don't carry my card with me. To many companies today are using SS numbers as employee ID's and that's wrong.
