An unseasonably cold trough will continue dropping down through the area today. Most of the moisture will fall east of the Cascades as a mix of rain and snow. There is a slight chance of morning showers in Portland, but then partial clearing will take place in the afternoon. Snow levels in the Cascades will be 4000' -4500' today.
Next week will be dry, with lots of sunshine and by midweek high temperatures will be in the low to mid 70's.
