Hello fish and everyone,
I am new registered user I can use only 3 posts today but have been following WAMU for last three months (I am invested in this stock too) and have to thank you guys for all the DD you guys do for everybody. One thing I have on my mind is those price spikes and dips (especially this week).
IMO today's move is not caused by any news or articles (I read Mike's and it is great that truth is finally coming out) but by simple short covering (short squeeze). Here is why I think so:
- for next couple weeks we won't have any major news coming out, no major hearings till 19th and 22nd
- since we all are buy and hold till settlement investors, with every run more and more people just buy and hold (so when there are no news = no buyers) therefor short sellers seeing lack of buyers can push the price lower ($0.28 - $0.198 this week).
- What has been happening yesterday and today: Today is the last day of second half of September for shorts to cover, therefor yesterday if there were no buyer shorts can hop in, sell short, push price lower and get out today pushing price back to it's sustainable level.
I am not trying to be smart a$$ or outsmart anybody on this message board, you all have my true respect (except that Idi0t Socialist4change). This is just my opinion to what happened today.
Please correct me if I'm wrong... I do want to hear your opinions

Thank you

Martini
